The questions clients often ask before placing an order — formats, turnaround, confidentiality, and what we can (or can't) redraw.
We deliver every figure in AI and SVG by default. On request, we'll also export TIFF, JPG, PNG, PDF, EPS or a print-ready, font-outlined PDF for journal submission. Source files are layered and named, so your team can edit them downstream.
Yes. Every order is color-profiled for its intended use. If you need a figure for both print and web, we deliver both versions. Just let us know the use context, such as print, slide deck, journal submission, or web, on the intake form.
Fully. AI files arrive with named layers, live (non-outlined) text, vector shapes, and a documented color palette. Your designer can change copy, swap colors, or rescale without rebuilding anything.
Our standard turnaround is 3 business days from quote approval to your first preview, plus 1–2 days for review and revisions. Most orders are completed within a week.
Yes, we can usually handle rush orders within 24–48 hours. Rush adds a 1.5× multiplier to the per-figure price. Same-day delivery is possible for orders of 1–2 figures, quoted on request.
Our standard turnaround is during business days (Monday–Friday, Eastern Time). Weekend work is available for rush and same-day orders, billed at 2× the standard rate.
Yes. Share your brand guide, including hex codes, fonts, type rules, or any chart-specific guidance, and we'll match it on the first pass. If you only have a few brand assets, we'll use those. If you don't have any, we'll suggest a neutral, science-credible style for your approval before we begin.
Yes. Send us an AI, EPS, or InDesign template, or even a finished figure as an example, and we'll build new figures to match the template's grid, type, line weights, and palette.
For final delivery, we can use your licensed font (provided by you, for use only in the project), use an equivalent open-source font, or outline the text for output so the figure is portable. Let us know your preference when you request a quote.
Yes, routinely. Most of our pharma and biotech clients require an NDA, and we sign before any files are exchanged. If you have an NDA template, please send it with your first email. If not, we can provide a mutual NDA.
All client work is treated as confidential by default, with no portfolio use, no public examples, and no third-party hosting of source files. Files live in an encrypted workspace; only the designers assigned to your project have access.
Active files are stored in an encrypted project workspace hosted in the US. Delivered files are available through a download link valid for 30 days. Archived source files are retained for 12 months in encrypted storage so we can quickly produce edits or new formats, then permanently deleted.
We handle every chart type used in medical and scientific publishing.
Don't see your chart type? Send us a sample, and we'll confirm.
In most cases, yes. We can usually reconstruct axes, values, and labels from a 72-dpi screenshot if the text is legible. If a chart's data is unreadable, we'll flag it at the quote stage and ask for a clearer source or the underlying values.
Yes. Send the full PDF or relevant pages, and we'll extract each figure. If the PDF contains a vector source, we'll use it. If it's a flattened image, we'll rebuild it from scratch.
That's workable as long as the text is legible. We often redraw from conference-booth photos, slide-cam screenshots, and even scanned printouts. Send us what you have.
That's even better. Send us a CSV file or paste the values into the intake form, and we'll build directly from your data. This removes any ambiguity from reading the source image and produces a cleaner result.
Yes. For teams running multiple campaigns, we offer monthly retainers with reserved capacity, priority turnaround, and volume pricing. This is useful for med-affairs teams, congress seasons, or publication-heavy quarters. Contact us with a rough volume estimate.
Yes. We've worked with teams across North America, the UK, the EU, and APAC. We invoice in USD and accept payment via Stripe (cards, ACH, SEPA, BACS) or wire. Communication is in English; we can translate axis labels into other languages on request.
Pricing is quoted per figure, by complexity tier. Simple figures (single-series bar, line, or pie) start at $120. Standard figures (multi-series, error bars, axes annotations) start at $180. Complex figures (Kaplan–Meier, forest, multi-panel, custom schematics) start at $280. All prices are quoted up front, with no hourly billing.
Every order includes 2 rounds of revisions. Additional rounds are quoted per chart, typically $40–80, depending on the scope. We've found that 2 rounds are enough for most orders when the brief is clear.
